Another Interlude
Lesson 10 – Chapter 10
Have you ever heard any of these age-old questions: “Why doesn’t God stop all the carnage, all the corruption, all the confusion?” Or “If God loves His people, why does He allow them to suffer?” Well the Lord has promised that the day will come when the mystery of His silence will be broken. And that day is connected to the seventh trumpet.
Sin with all its carnage, broken ___________, broken _________,broken ________, broken _________, broken __________, broken __________, broken ___________, broken __________, broken ________, will all be___________.
An interlude for John to get a grip on what is being revealed to him, and for us as well. But there is coming a day when the seventh angel blows, a moment will come when there will be no more delay. But before the blowing of that last trumpet, John is given an interlude.
The Interludes Purpose
- To remind all, including Christians alive at the time of these judgments that the Kingdom will come

There is a respite here to remind us that God is still sovereign:
This is a divine intermission to show that God is still in control:
- To remind us of our remarkable coming King
Chapter 10 is a chapter with five remarkable features:

When I think about the coming of Christ, it has a sweetness, doesn’t it, but it also means blood and wrath and vengeance and judgment and hell is coming.
And so John is instructed to preach about it….
Warn men, tell them of the bitter
Tell them of the sweet.
Tell them what’s in the seventh trumpet.
Tell them what’s in the seventh bowl and all the ones preceding it.
Tell them to taste the honey and avoid the bitter.
